Custom Braiding

Capabilities: Our winding and braiding department can braid a wide assortment of materials and constructions to meet your specifications for custom, prototype and small production runs. We have the ability to braid any type of wire such as stainless steel, silver, nickel or tin coated copper, nylon, rayon, fiberglass, KevlarTM and etc. over tubing and conduit 1/8” to 1-1/18” in diameter.

Designing, prototyping and manufacturing custom braid constructions for performance considerations or aesthetic requirements is our specialty. We have the ability to braid over any type of tubing, conduit, flexible rod, or hose in a variety of colors and materials. This includes UV resistant colors for coded fluid or gas transfer lines used for medical or aerospace, protective braiding for coded electrical wires and heat insulating or reinforcing braid for tubing or extreme wear applications. Braided applications include cable conduit, industrial hydraulic hoses, brake lines assemblies, fluid transfer hoses, and fashion industry products.
